 "Just wanted to send you a note to express my feelings about the Riders Edge Class!! It was awesome! I came into it only ever riding a motorcycle 50' in a parking lot with my husband trying to teach me. That's where it ended...I felt so much more confident...that I could actually ride the Fat Boy® that I had just bought! People kept telling me to buy a smaller bike, you're going to dump it for sure. I didn't listen to them and I'm so glad that I didn't...I have put over 400 miles on the bikes in the last 3 weeks...Jim and Dennis were invaluable. They made the class fun and light-hearted, while still drilling the basics into our heads. I felt safe and the building block approach to the class made it a no brainer to learn to ride...it doesn't matter what bike you ride, its all technique...I sure did impress my husband by making a U-turn on my Fat Boy without putting my feet down in a confined space on our first ride out together. THE NEW RIDER COURSE
The Rider's Edge® New Rider Course is a mixture of classroom time and actual riding that delivers the basics of motorcycle operation in Harley-Davidson style. It's taught by experts certified by both the Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) and Harley-Davidson® to provide topnotch instruction in a relaxed, fun environment. After passing a written test and a riding skills evaluation, you'll receive a MSF RiderCourse® Completion Card that — depending on your state — may exempt you from the written and/or riding skills portion of the motorcycle operator's license test. The card may also qualify you for discounts on motorcycle insurance, depending on the provider. More than that, you'll start a journey that will last a lifetime.

 SCHEDULE
The course is conducted over 4 days from Thursday to Sunday, Beginning in April and continuing through October.REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR INCOMPLETE CLASSES
WE ALSO REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 10 DAYS NOTICE TO RECEIVE A REFUND WHEN CANCELING YOUR CLASS? Times are as follows:
- Thursdays & Fridays: 5:00pm - 8:00pm
- Saturdays & Sundays: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Upon successful completion of our Rider's Edge Course you will be invited to attend our state testing - where we supply the bikes! State testing occurs every other Thursday at 8am.

REQUIREMENTS
To take the course, you need:
- To know how to ride a bicycle
- A motorcycle learners permit from the DMV
- Jeans
- Over-the-ankle boots or shoes
- Full-Finger Motorcycle Gloves
- Heavy long-sleeved shirt or jacket.
- A helmet that meets DOT specifications.

 MOTORCYCLE
You will be riding a 492 cc Buell® Blast® — a responsive, mid-weight streetbike that's easy to handle and rider-friendly. But make no mistake, the Blast is a real-world bike that can take you as far as you want to go.
COST
The Rider's Edge® New Rider Course costs $350 per person.
