"Dear Wildfire,
....I am the proud owner of a FLHRCI 2008 anniversary edition that was purchased from your dealership..Prior to that I purchased, again from your dealership , a 2004 FLRHCI as well...
Today, while on the road, I noticed on two separate occasions the "check engine" light come on . I rode directly to the service department and reported my findings...The technician behind the desk "Peter" took the time to listen to my story and came outside with me and put the bike through a self diagnostic test off the tank panel...He then suggested that he take it inside and put it on the diagnostic testing machine to see what was going on...After about 20 minutes ( that included a test ride by himself as well) he returned with the keys and stated that all is well with the bike..He stated that it was a historic error involving the cruise control and after clearing it and test riding all was back in order.....That was it...No bill ; no attempt at trying to schedule a service check on the bike etc.He wished me well and I was on my way..
Here was a technician who could have easily trumped up issues with the bike/must stay overnight until it cools down and we can get a mechanic on it tomorrow/ and all sorts of horror stories that are legendary in the bike/automotive repair industry. But this was not the case.
Obviously this was not the way Peter operated and treated his customers nor is it the philosophy of Wildfire HD.....What can I say but thanks to Peter and thanks to Wildfire for instilling in their people this level of customer service In all my past dealings I have had nothing but positive experiences with your dealership and your personnel..Sales/motor clothes/parts and service....You guys are nothing if not a class act...

I just wanted to comment on the dealership and your Riders Edge Program. I took the class as a refresher to riding since I hadn't been on a bike for a while and found the entire experience was "TRULY GREAT". I am not a current Harley Owner but definitely plan on being one in the very near future.
I am a business owner and know the value of Customer Service. It will Make you or Break you. But from any perspective, your dealership is one that I found to be very professional yet still had the personal touch clients are looking for. I will definitely return for rental's and purchase's and would refer anyone I knew to your dealership.
The instructors I had for the Rider's Edge Program were also tremendous. "Mike" & "Collen" were by far some of the best educator's I have had the experience to learn from. They alone were one of your best asset's. Their level of professionalism just reflects your dealership's commitment to Customer Service. they gave us an education and made it "fun" as well.
The entire staff from the class coordinator "James" to "Allan" in rental"s and the entire parts and sales staff I met during the showroom tour were just terrific. I apologize for not remembering all their names but they were all great. I have been to a couple of other Harley dealers and although I didn't have a Bad Experience it was no where near the Good Time I had at "Wild Fire". You have the competition beat hands down. I would go out of my way and travel to your dealership for my Harley needs just because you guy's are so great.
In closing just wanted to say, NO, No one paid me to say all these wonderful things about your dealership. It's just the honest to god truth.
Like the saying goes There's nothing like a Harley and also there's nothing that compares to a dealer like "Wild Fire". You Guy's got if figured out . Keep up the Excellent work.

"Left message to see if a part was in stock. They said they would do a dealer locate and call me back. A few minutes later I received a call saying that you had it in stock. I asked to hold it until the next day when I would be able to drive down from Park Ridge to get it, being it was 5:00pm on a week night, and he said OK. A few minutes later he called me back to say that he lives near Park Ridge and would drop it off after the store closed. About 8:45pm he was at my front door.
This is customer service "above and beyond" and I thank you for having such a person on your staff.

Thank god you were able to help! I was have some odd noises coming from my engine, when I asked my own department for help they said they would start taking stuff apart and let me know what they found. I didn't realize it to afterwords, but the day I actually bought the bike was my salesman's day off, but he came in and made the whole process go smoothly. Shortly after she ordered, she got a phone call from someone at your dealer telling her that if the card was mailed, obviousley I would not have it for christmas, and said that he lived close to my address where she was having it sent and offered to hand deliver it christmas morning!
